Ecogenetic monitoring of ionizing radiation for radon-hazardous territories

چکیده
This work is devoted to studying the alpha activity distribution of natural radionuclides in boarding schools located near zones tectonic faults. There are many faults Almaty and this basis for referring southern capital Kazakhstan radon-hazardous territories. As a result radiometric measurements 2D-topology alpha-radiation flux density from distance fault was found. Based on results coefficient radon concentration rupture Using obtained pattern, it possible plot dependence volumetric other schools, if their distances known. In addition, interest biomedical ecogenetic effects its decay products has grown considerably last few years. These have been investigated biotests Drosophila’s two systems. It found that alpha-particles, with help which situation territories simulated, possess mutagenic influence manifested mainly formation morphoses or deformities.

Non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation monitoring in Greece
The design, development and operation of a network for the monitoring of the nonionizing electromagnetic radiation in Greece is presented in this paper. Two independent sub-networks, called “Hermes” and “pedion24” have been operating since November 2002 in several areas, and more than 4,000,000 electric field strength measurements have been conducted to date. The measurement results indicate th...

Introduction Radiation that has sufficient energy to remove electrons from atoms is called “ionizing radiation.” Ionization results in the production of negatively charged free electrons and positively charged ionized atoms. Ionizing radiation can be classified into two groups: photons (includes X-radiation and gamma radiation) and particles (includes alpha and beta particles and neutrons). The...
